Eric Meisner began his journey into cinematography in 1999 while attending the University of North Texas in the RTVF program. He’s lens films on 35mm, 16mm, 8mm, and mini DV, during his tenure at UNT. He also received the Tech of Year honors for his Advanced Film class as voted on by his peers.

In 2004 Eric jumped in the Dallas market by landing a job at the prestigious Camera & Lighting rental house, Panavision Dallas. Through his tenure in the Lighting Department, he worked with the top of the line equipment that is the motion picture standard.

In 2005, Eric launched his career into the freelance camera and lighting world. He has worked the gambit from low budget to multi-million dollar productions. He has Shot and, or lit Industrials, Commercials, Music videos, Features, Reality shows, Shorts, and Spec spots.

Eric has worked with high profile Cinematographers such as Robert Richardson ASC (Macy’s Spot), John Bailey ASC (Mad Money), Phedon Papamicheals ASC (W.), and Alik Sakharov ASC (Straw Dogs), learning to hone his own craft by working for them at theirs.

All of these experiences and more have molded Eric Meisner into Director of Photography that will give you a visceral look that you will love and enjoy. Eric also continues to write and direct his own projects perfecting his craft as a filmmaker.
